SUSTAINABILITY PADA BANK DI ASIA PASIFIK: PENGARUH ESG SCORE DAN FAKTOR SPESIFIK BANK TERHADAP PROFITABILITAS

Sektor perbankan Asia Pasifik menghadapi tekanan untuk mengintegrasikan praktik Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), namun mekanisme transmisi dampak ESG terhadap kinerja keuangan masih belum dipahami dengan baik. Penelitian ini menganalisis transmission channels ESG terhadap profitabilitas bank di kawasan Asia Pasifik dengan mempertimbangkan heterogenitas regulasi regional. Analisis data panel terhadap 226 bank terdaftar selama 2021-2023 menggunakan fixed effect model, enhanced DuPont analysis untuk mengidentifikasi jalur transmisi, dan analisis regulasi komparatif di 20+ negara. Model regresi menunjukkan skor ESG berkoefisien positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap ROE (p=0,321), namun enhanced DuPont analysis mengungkapkan operating efficiency sebagai primary transmission channel (korelasi 0,2557, p
