Gazelle merupakan merek sepeda milik Koninklijke Gazelle N.V asal Belanda yang diimpor secara eksklusif oleh PT. Putera Kharisma Wiranegara di Indonesia. Meskipun baru berdiri bulan November tahun 2009, PT. Putera Kharisma Wiranegara optimis untuk bersaing dengan produsen lokal yang menguasai pasar sepeda Indonesia saat ini. Sebagai perusahaan yang memasarkan suatu produk, PT. Putera Kharisma Wiranegara perlu untuk mengetahui terlebih dahulu bagaimana pasar sepeda di Indonesia sebelum memutuskan tehnik pemasaran seperti apa yang cocok digunakan untuk produknya. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memberikan masukan kepada PT. Putera Kharisma Wiranegara dalam memilih strategi untuk memasarkan sepeda Gazelle di Indonesia hingga dapat memperbesar market share di pasar sepeda.
