Saat ini, aktivitas pemasaran yang sudah begitu kreatif di era globalisasi saat ini, sudah berkembang sangat pesat. Dapat dilihat salah satu alat pemasaran yang kita kenal sebagai strategi komunikasi pemasaran. Strategi komunikasi pemasaran dalam penerapannya menggunakan suatu tools yang discbut komunikasi pcmasaran terpadu atau integrated marketing communication (IMC). Dalam LMC, pemasar tidak terbatas hanya menggunakan satu elemen tertenlu, tetapi juga dapat menggunakan beberapa elemen sekaligus untuk hasil yang lebih optimal. Dunia pemasaran dewasa ini sudah dapat menerima bahwa komunikasi pemasaran dapat membentuk brand awareness dan brand image untuk membangun dan memperkuat brand equily.
