JAPANESE BANKING, SECURITIES AND ANTI-MONOPOLY LAW
This volume comprises of papers presented at a conference on Japanese commercial law held at University College, London, in September 1987. A distinguished panel of contributors from both London and Tokyo consisted of lawyers, economists and government officials. Under a section on banking law, the liberalization of the Japanese market is examined along with special aspects of Japanese banking transactions, security rights and negotiable instruments. Further sections deal with recent developments in Japanese corporate finance law, the role of the Japanese Securities Dealers' Association, recent developments in securities and exchange law, foreign shares on the Japanese Stock Market and competition practice in Japan.
