CASE PROBLEM AND READINGS: A SUPPLEMENT FOR INVESTMENTS AND PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT

SMITH, KEITH V. - Personal Name;

The intent of this book is to present for the student or reader a new set of case problems, together with a selected choice of readings from the investments literature, that collectively will serve as a useful supplement to recent textbooks on investments. Hopefully, the book will be helpful in bringing theoretical advancements in investments closer to real-world practices of investments and portfolio management.

Twenty-six case problems are included. Each is relatively short. In each case problem, students are given a clear picture of the relevant issues for discussion and questions to be answered. Some of the case problems deal with investments and portfolio management by an individual or family. Other case problems deal with professional investments management. Certain of the case problems direct students to discuss readings that also are included in this book.
