PENGARUH CONSUMER ANIMOSITY, BOYCOTT PARTICIPATION, BOYCOTT MOTIVATION, DAN PRODUCT JUDGMENT TERHADAP PURCHASE READINESS DAN AVERSION PADA PIZZA HUT DI INDONESIA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh consumer animosity, boycott participation, boycott motivation, dan product judgment terhadap purchase readiness dan purchase aversion pada produk Pizza Hut di Indonesia. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari tingginya sensitivitas masyarakat Indonesia terhadap konflik Israel-Palestina, yang memicu gerakan boikot terhadap perusahaan yang dianggap mendukung Israel. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan data yang diperoleh melalui survei kuesioner secara online terhadap konsumen Pizza Hut di Indonesia. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah konsumen Pizza Hut yang berusia minimal 17 tahun, tinggal di Indonesia dan berkewarganegaraan Indonesia, pernah melakukan pembelian produk Pizza Hut dalam dua tahun terakhir, dan mengetahui adanya aksi boikot terhadap merek Pizza Hut. Data hasil penelitian diolah menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modelling dengan SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa consumer animosity berpengaruh positif secara signifikan terhadap boycott participation dan boycott motivation, namun tidak secara langsung memengaruhi purchase readiness.
