Penelitian ini meneliti pengaruh union instrumentality dan transformational leadership terhadap job performance melalui mediasi job security dan job satisfaction, dalam mendorong efektivitas transformasi organisasi, kinerja karyawan. Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan Covariance Based SEM dengan total 315 responden di PT PLN Nusantara Power yang digunakan untuk analisis data, menggunakan Lisrel. Hasil studi menunjukan peran mediasi job security dalam pengaruh positif union instrumentality terhadap job performance. Belum banyak studi yang mengintegrasikan serikat pekerja dan kepemimpinan transformasional untuk mengevaluasi kinerja karyawan dalam konteks transformasi organisasi, khususnya di Indonesia. Kontribusi dari penelitian ini bagi literatur adalah memberikan bukti empiris terkait dampak instrumentalitas serikat pekerja dan kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kinerja karyawan. Studi serupa masih jarang dilakukan di Indonesia sehingga dapat memperkaya kajian terkait topik.
