PENGARUH TRANSPARENT COMMUNICATION DAN TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP TERHADAP EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT MELALUI MEDIASI EMPLOYEE ORGANIZATIONAL TRUST

Penelitian ini didasarkan pada pemahaman bahwa perubahan organisasi, seperti delayering, dapat memengaruhi tingkat employee engagement karena ketidakpastian yang ditimbulkan. Penelitian sebelumnya mengakui adanya peran transparent communication, transformational leadership, dan employee organizational trust dalam meningkatkan tingkat employee engagement. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh transparent communication dan transformational leadership terhadap employee engagement melalui mediasi employee organizational trust dalam konteks perubahan organisasi. Penelitian ini merupakan cross-sectional study dengan teknik purposive sampling. Responden dari penelitian ini adalah pejabat fungsional PD Ahli Pertama yang diangkat melalui mekanisme delayering di Otoritas Douane Indonesia. Sebanyak 424 data responden dikumpulkan dan dianalisis lebih lanjut. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan Structural Equation Model dengan Lisrel 8.8. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa transparent communication dan transformational leadership berpengaruh positif
signifikan terhadap employee engagement, Selanjutnya employee organizational trust memediasi secara parsial hubungan antara transparent communication dan transformational leadership dengan employee engagement. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi di bidang manajemen sumber daya manusia melalui panduan praktis untuk meningkatkan employee engagement dalam konteks perubahan organisasi, khususnya delayering, pada organisasi sektor publik.
